Uchiba Happy Hour

Uchiba’s daily happy hour runs from 5–6:30 PM. The current menu includes a $90 nine-course happy-hour omakase for two, cool tastings from $9.25, skewers from $8, hot dishes from $7.50, nigiri from $8, temaki from $9 and cocktails at $10.

Examples include $12 sake crudo and hamachi plum, $8 pork and Wagyu skewers, $7.50 pork dumplings, $9 salmon or tuna nigiri, and $10 cocktails such as the Shiso Tini, Hachi No Hiza and Toki Highball. Happy-hour wine starts at $8, sake at $7 and beer at $6.

Uchiba Menu

The regular menu is organized around Japanese small plates and drinking food, with sections for oysters and specials, buns and bao, dumplings, hot tastings, yakitori, Toyosu seafood, makimono, nigiri and sashimi, desserts and an extensive drinks list. It differs from Uchi downstairs even though the two restaurants share the same building.

Yakitori, Buns & Dumplings

Yakitori and shareable hot dishes are an important part of the menu. Buns and dumplings add more substantial small plates, making Uchiba useful for a meal built around several shared dishes.

Sushi & Nigiri

Uchiba also serves sushi and nigiri, although the overall menu is more izakaya-oriented than Uchi downstairs. Diners can combine sushi with hot small plates instead of treating the menu as sushi-only.

Cocktails, Sake & Japanese Whisky

The bar program is a major part of Uchiba’s identity. Cocktails, sake and Japanese whisky complement the food menu, and selected drinks are included during the daily happy-hour window.

Reservations & Access

Reservations are accepted and walk-ins are welcome. Uchiba is on the second floor above Uchi at 2817 Maple Avenue, so make sure you are heading to the upstairs restaurant rather than checking in downstairs. Patio seating is weather permitting, and valet is available during dinner service.

Use Google Maps for directions. For the downstairs restaurant, see the Uchi Dallas guide. For more nearby options, see Uptown Dallas Happy Hour. Because Uchiba runs its special every day, it is also included in the Weekend Happy Hour in Dallas guide and the main Dallas happy hour guide.
